Our
Day
Our
Day
“You follow us when we flee.
We turn our backs on you
and you run to place yourself in front of us;
you plead, but you are scorned;
no confusion, no belittlement, can tear you apart from, unceasingly,
using such means
so that with them you may attract us
to that joy which no eye saw,
no ear heard,
nor has the human heart
been able to conceive.”
Saint Bernard of Clairvaux
Recreation
At the end of the day we have half an hour of recreation with the sisters. We get together to dialogue about different spontaneous subjects, our families, share worries and joys.
While participating in the service of the neighbor, who is the same Jesus Christ, we set ourselves to listen and share the most beautiful and agreeable moments of the day.
End of the day
“Keep sober and alert, because your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand up to him, strong in faith and in the knowledge that it is the same kind of suffering that the community of your brothers throughout the world is undergoing.”
(1P 5, 8-9)
This is the text we pray for Compline, the night prayer of the Church, with which we conclude our day, and then entrusting ourselves to the hands of the Virgin, we intone the Salve Regina
